On the eastern side as on the western one, to the north as to the south, Sardinian coasts make a charming sequence
of pastel blue waters alternating with the emerald sea, while candid shores give way to stretches of golden sand
or to cliffs carved by time.
The hinterland of Sardinia offers a variety of reasons for a visit: at different heights, numerous towns have
scenic views of the rugged mountain environment, that represent some extremely attractive naturalistic and
cultural worlds.
The forests that cover the mountain areas of Sardinia have numerous footpaths and routes, some also accessible
to mountain bikes or off road vehicles.
The forest areas are often sliced through by watercourses or enlivened by the waters of fresh springs and falls.
